이 논문은 예비교사교육에 대한 국내의 연구 동향을 분석하고 향후 연구를 위한 시사점을 탐색하 기 위한 것으로 최근 12년간(2001년～2012년) 발표된 학진등재 및 등재후보 학술지의 논문 총 318 편을 학술연구정보서비스 검색을 통해 수집하여 분석하였다. 수집한 논문은 내용분석을 통해 Cooper 등(2004)이 교육정책 분석모형으로 제안한 규범적, 기술적, 구조적, 구성적 차원의 4가지 관 점으로 범주화하였다. 분석 결과의 특징을 살펴보면 첫째, 양적인 측면에서 예비교사교육에 관한 연구는 12년간 지속적 으로 증가하는 추세이며 논문 수는 구조적 차원, 기술적 차원, 구성적 차원, 규범적 차원의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 구조적 차원에서는 교원양성 ‘체제’를 주제로 한 연구들이 지속적으로 수행되고 있 으며, 특정 학교급에 국한하지 않고 체제 전반에 대한 진단과 개선 방안 제안이 주를 이루었다. 그 외에도 교과교육과정 개발, 교원양성제도의 해외사례 분석 등에 대한 주제가 함께 다루어졌다. 셋째, 구성적 차원에서는 교직 입문 전 예비교사 ‘개인’이 가지는 구체적인 경험 또는 인식에 대한 관심이 강조되었다. 넷째, 기술적 차원에서는 교원양성과정이 예비교사의 인지적, 정의적 성과에 대해 미치 는 ‘효과’를 검증하려는 시도가 주로 이루어졌다. 마지막으로, 교직에 대한 가치를 다루는 규범적 차 원의 연구는 실제 발표된 논문의 수는 미미한 수준에 불과하여 보다 적극적인 연구 수행이 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 예비교사교육에 대한 국내 연구는 각 차원별로 나름의 다양한 시도가 지속적으로 이루어졌고 연구자에 따라서는 상이한 관점과 주제를 다루고 있다는 점에서 의의가 있 다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 예비교사교육 연구의 완성도를 높이기 위해서는 향후 각 차원이 가진 특 성에 따라 후속 연구가 체계적으로 계획되고 연구내용과 방법론적인 측면에서의 다양화를 시도할 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.
Teacher is an essential factor which decides the outcome of education. This study was to see the current research trends of pre-service education studies since 2001 in Korea and suggest the tasks of future pre-service studies. Researchers selected 318 articles among 535 from the RISS system and categorized as the Cooper's policy analysis perspective(normative, technical, structural, constituentive). The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the studies on pre-service education are numerically increasing and structural, technical, constituentive, normative in sequence. Secondly, attention on the teacher training "system" is growing but insufficient microscopic studies. Thirdly, attention on the individual is growing but extremely biased in terms of the topic and methodology. Fourthly, studies are increasing on the effects of the teacher education institutions, however the studies are lack of accuracy and need to be more diverse. Lastly, there is consensus for the studies of normative dimension but rarely performed. In conclusion, the studies on pre-service education in Korea are accomplished consistently but are performed segmentally without any logical connection in every 4 dimensions. Therefore, the future studies need to be more premeditate, and diverse in research contents and methodology according to the characteristics of the each dimension. And also meta analysis and in-depth researches need to be carry out in each dimension.
