이 연구는 특수학교 체육교사의 교육적 가치정향 실태를 알아보는 것으로||| 체육교사의 배경변인별(성||| 교육경력||| 학교급||| 설립유형||| 장애영역) 교육적 가치정향의 차이와 관계를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 전국 특수학교 체육교사를 대상으로 단순무선으로 표집된 126명을 통해 가치정향 설문지로 조사되었다. 이 연구 의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째||| 교육경력이 20년||| 5년||| 10~20년 미만||| 5~10년 미만 순으로 가치정향이 높고||| 학교급별로 학습과정 영역에서 초?중?고등학교 순으로 가치정향이 높고||| 설립유형별로 국?공립학교는 학습과정 영역을 더 중요하게 인식하고 있다. 장애영역별로 시각||| 청각||| 정신지체||| 정서장애||| 지체장애학 교 순으로 가치정향이 높다. 둘째||| 가지정향과 배경변인 간 상관관계에서 교육경력이 높을수록 가치정향도 높아지고 정서장애||| 지체장애||| 정신지체 장애일수록 가치정향이 낮다. 대체적으로 가치정향과 배경변인 간에는 상관관계가 낮은 결과를 보았다. 후속 연구에서는 체육교사의 교육방법과 가치정향 간 관계를 구 명할 수 있는 연구가 필요할 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to find out the value orientation among physical education teachers at schools for students with disabilities. This study was to examine background information of 126 physical education teachers at schools for students with disabilities through administration of the Revised Value Orientation Inventory. Findings from this study were as follows. On value orientation levels of physical education teachers who worked in the longer period of time preferred to the value orientation in learning process. Teachers at higher school levels emphasized the value orientation in learning process of physical education teachers on all school levels preferred to the value orientation in ecological integration. In the categories of disabilities the value orientation of physical education teachers who worked at schools for the mentally retarded||| schools for the emotional disturbed||| and schools for physically disabled were high while the value orientation of physical education teachers who worked at schools for the visually impaired and schools for the hearing impaired were low.
