This study investigated traditional reading method and that overcoming it for the purpose of laying the basis of modern utilization, and out of traditional reading methods, peculiar reading methods were mutually and comparatively analyzed and traditional and modern reading methods were comparatively analyzed and proceeded. Traditional reading can be viewed as study pursuing method and modern reading is practised in the direction of problem solving and information acquiring with common knowledge and entertainment as its basis and furthermore, in the various and meaningful direction such as healing through reading. Therefore, it is expected that this study will contribute to basis for today’s reading, eduction on reading and reading culture.
