This study examined the necessity on the history education in connection
with a museum in view of the secondary school based on analyzing the
course work offered the basics of history education of that, the guidebook
of that stated the character and goal of history curriculum, and the
theories of the adolescence. Also through the history education connected
with a museum, it attempted to promote the effectiveness of history
education, and to foster the ability of self-directed learning leads the
lifelong education since the secondary school days.
The activating plans on the history education in connection with a
museum in view of the secondary school are that the providing the
secondary school students with adequate exhibitions, performances and
educative programs, training professionals, collaborating with the related
institutes, distributing the educational materials, and publicizing data
services on collections of a museum.
