Sinleok-sa is a branch temple of Bupju-sa of the Korean Buddhist Chogye Order, located in the city of Jecheon, Chungcheong buk-Do province. In Sinleok-sa, many cultural assets of heritage such as Sinleok-sa three-story stone tower designated as No.1296 national treasure and, Kukrak Shrine No.132 Chungcheongbuk-do tangible cultural assets as well as non-designated cultural assets such as Taengwha (Hanging Painting of Buddha) are well preserved. Among them, one can find a mural painting in the upper center on the right wall of the exterior of Kukrak Shirine. It is the predominant view that the painting is portraying a delegation procession led by Great Priest Sa-Myung for peace negotiation. And the Castle of Choong-Ju-eup in the city of ChoongJu is the most likely venue this procession took place. This wall painting is assumed to be painted by Park, Sam-Chun after 1925.
