The purpose of this study is to explicate the role of teacher in teaching school subjects implied in the concept of curriculum localization. They say that the role of teacher in teaching school subjects is to hand over school subjects to students mechanically. This point of view never appear without separating between teacher and school subjects. The school subjects separated from teacher mean the language consists in surface of school subjects. So the aim of teaching school subjects is understood as transmitting the language to students without the meaning. In this case, the role of teacher in teaching school subjects have nothing to do with self-cultivation of students.
The concept of curriculum localization suggests alternative view for the role of teacher in teaching school subjects. To localize the curriculum, teacher has to make use of the theory about curriculum development. But his doing is understood not as mechanical application of the theory, but as externalization of his mind to curriculum. In this respect, it is a mistake to regard curriculum separated with teacher\'s mind. So do school subjects, because they represent the curriculum. Teaching school subjects is par excellence externalization of teacher\'s mind. Consequently, the concept of curriculum localization awake us ideal role of teacher in teaching school subjects through continuity between teacher and school subjects.
