The purpose of this study is to examine effectiveness of social worker strength oriented coping program for
children with ADHD. 10 social workers were assigned to experimental group and to control group. A
quasi-experimental design where a non equivalent control group pretest-post design has been implemented
in order to evaluate the program effectiveness in terms of the passive coping skill, negative coping skills,
active coping skill, and knowledg of ADHD. This study was found to produce an effective impact in
reducing negative coping style and improving passive coping style. For Further development there is need
for more attempts of repeated intervention and elaboration in field conditions is essential.
