이 연구는 국내 소아암 치료 영역에서의 주된 의사결정자인 의사, 간호사, 환아 부모에게 음악치료에 대한 인식도를 조사하고 그들의 음악치료에 대한 기대를 알아보기 위한 것이었 다. 연구 대상은 국내 상급 종합병원 중 연구자와 조사 협조가 이루어진 9개 병원에서 시 행되었다. 이들 9개 병원에서 연구 참여에 서면 동의한 의사 42명, 간호사 84명, 환아 부모 74명을 대상으로 진행 하였다. 음악치료에 대한 전문가들과 보호자의 인식도를 조사하였으 며 세부 사항으로는 인지도, 이해도, 기대도, 목적 영역으로 나누어서 조사 하였고, 조사한 결과를 토대로 각 그룹의 인식도 차이를 SPSS package로 비교분석 하였다. 각각의 영역에 대한 점수는 독립 T-검정과 ANOVA를 통해 비교 분석되었고, 목적영역에 대한 순위는 서 술 통계에 의해 이루어졌다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 인지도, 이해도, 기대도, 목적 영역에 대한 의사, 간호사, 환아 부모 3집단을 비교한 결과 모든 영역에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 인지도는 의사 집단이 가장 높고 환아 부모 간호사 순으로 나타났다. 이해도와 기대도 그 리고 목적영역에 대해서는 환아 부모가 가장 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 간호 사 의사 집단 순으로 나타났다. 음악치료 관련 강의를 들어본 경험은 기대도에 영향을 미 치며 음악치료 용어를 들어본 경험은 기대도, 목적 영역에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 음악치료에 목적영역의 우선순위에 대한 의견을 물어본 결과 즐거움 제공을 가 장 높은 순위로 선택하였고 판단력을 향상시킨다는 문항은 가장 낮은 순위로 선택되었다.
The purpose of the study is to find out the recognition degree of music therapy by doctors, nurses and parents of children with cancer. The subjects of the study were 42 doctors and 84 nurses, who have been working in the pediatric oncology unit at nine university hospitals in Korea for more than a year, along with 74 parents of children with cancer. Doctors had a relatively higher comprehension levels towards music therapy than nurses and parents while the parents held higher levels of perception, expectation, and goal area than the other two groups. The subjects with an experience of being in a lecture on music therapy more highly valued expectation than those who have not had an experience. Moreover, the experience of having heard the term, ??music therapy??had a noticeable influence on the levels of expectation and goal area. Regarding the overall evaluation of the goal area, doctors were less positive compared with the nurses and parents. The result of the above research shows that while doctors have a higher level of recognition towards comprehension, they have lower levels of perception, expectation and goal area compared with nurses and parents of the children with cancer. Thus, it seems crucial that doctors, nurses, and parents improve their understanding of music therapy through symposia and seminars. Also since the research is based on examination of only 9 institutions, a nationwide research study is suggested to thoroughly examine the recognition degree of all doctors and nurses working in the pediatric oncology unit as well as all parents of the children with cancer.
