In this study an Rational-Emotive theraphy centered attempt has been made to reflect various kinds of existing model for intervening in family violence in organizing programs in order to change one\'s mind and prevent battering behaviors of assailant. This study aimed to contribute to active enforcement of judically ordered programs by organizing and conducting cognitive theraphy centered group programs to intervene in family violence assailant and then analyzing their effects. In order to do so, group programs for total fifty hours for 10 family violence assailant have been conducted, and the indentical group preliminary and post factum plan has been applied as the reserch plan. As a research method, Disfunction Attitude Scale, perception of violence and have been measured prior to and after group intervention, and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, A nonparametric statistical analysis method, has been applied to examine the differences. In paticular, in case of measure of family violence assailant behavior, it has been attempted to evaluate the recorded that they have written one\'s oppions about their problem, that they have felt the felling after completion of programs.
