This study was to investigate the recent trends in research on vocational rehabilitation for adults with visual impairments and blindness in korea. A total of 32 articles that published from 1991 to 2014 met the criteria for analysis and were included in this review. Each article was reviewed according to the topics, methods, subjects, and areas of research content, conclusions, suggestions by using method of content analysis. As results of this study were as follows: First, it was founded that most of the research methods used method of survey and, most of the research topics were factors and, most of the research subjects employed adults with visual impairments and blindness who have job and, most of the areas of content investigated type of job such as massage business, fortunetelling, school teacher they have. Second, this study revealed that most studies focused on reviewing foreign articles and came up with way to apply the finding to domestic situation. Survey research and qualitative research has been used to investigate factors of successful leading and keeping job such as the job development and placement and, work environment for school teacher. Experimental research conducted to inform an positive effect on and implications of massage therapy. Third, the suggestion of vocational rehabilitation researches mentioned that most of the research suggestion was vocational rehabilitation policy and way of improving the working environment and assistive technology support. Based on our study, we suggest future research topics on vocational rehabilitation for adults with visual impairments and blindness.
