본 연구는 보육 교사의 배경요인에 따라 직무수행의 어려움과 전문성 발달에 대한 인식은 차이가 있는지, 그리고 직무수행의 어려움과 전문성 발달에 대한 인식은 어떤 관계가 있는지 살펴보는 것이다. 보육교사의 배경요인은 경력, 학력, 연수 참여경험, 이직 경험, 결혼 유무, 근무 지역, 근무 기관 유형, 근무 시간, 담당학급 연령을 포함하였다. 보육 교사 237명을 대상으로 조사를 실시한 결과, 직무수행의 어려움은 경력, 이직 경험, 연수 참여경험, 결혼 유무, 근무 지역, 근무기관 유형, 근무 시간에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 전문성 발달에 대한 인식은 경력, 연수 참여경험에 따라 차이가 있었다. 한편, 보육교사의 직무수행의 어려움과 전문성 발달에 대한 인식 간에는 전체 및 하위 영역 간에 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate difficulty in job performance and professional development according to daycare teachers' background variables, and relationship between the difficulty in job performance and the professional development. For this purpose, 237 daycare teachers were intentionally selected. Teachers' background variables were composed internal variables and external variables. The result showed that the difficulty in job performance were significant differences in daycare teacher's career, marital status, turnover experience, in-service training experience, area of daycare center, type of daycare center, and working hours. In addition, the professional development significantly differed according to career and in-service training experience. Otherwise, there appeared to be a negative correlation between the difficulty in job performance and the professional development.
