The purpose of this study is to suggest pro-con cooperation learning to enhance critical thinking skill, self-directed learning attitudes and subject-specific interests. 86 students, 6th grade students of elementary school were selected as the subject of this study. This study proceeded in the order of pre-test, treatment and post-test. The significance of this study is as follows. First, pro-con cooperation learning and discussion learning are suggested to enhance critical thinking skill. Second, pro-con cooperation learning and discussion learning are suggested to enhance self-directed learning attitudes. Third, pro-con cooperation learning and discussion learning are suggested to enhance subject-specific interests. As a results, pro-con cooperation learning and discussion learning is effective on improving critical thinking skill, self-directed learning attitudes, and subject-specific interests of the children. It tells us that we can have new capability in teaching-learning of elementary school students.
