The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of rehabilitation through art programs on the
psychological well-being and stress coping methods of children at risk and their care-givers. For the
purpose of the study, the investigator provided a rehabilitation through art program to nine children at
risk, who were the subjects of case management at N Dream Start Center in B City, and their care-givers.
Two dependent-sample t-tests were conducted using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program to examine the research
questions. The conclusions from the results and discussions are as follows. First, the rehabilitation through
art program does indeed affect overall psychological well-being of children at risk and its subfactor,
positive interpersonal relationships. Second, the rehabilitation through art program affect on overall
psychological well-being of care-givers and its subfactors, autonomy and personal growth. Third, the
rehabilitation through art program affects on aggressive coping method of children at risk. Fourth, the
rehabilitation through art program affects on problem solving of caregivers. In short, the rehabilitation
through art program had positive affects on the psychological well-being and stress coping methods of
children at risk and their caregivers.
