이 연구는 학습장애학생의 다중지능 발달 특성 및 학습양식과의 관계를 밝혀내어 학습장애학생을 대상으로 한 다중지능이론 적용 연구 및 프로그램 마련을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 초등학교에 재학 중인 학습장애학생, 일반학생 각각 30명(총 60명)을 연구대상으로 표집하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 학습장애학생은 음악지능, 신체운동지능이 강점지능이고, 논리수학지능과 언어지능은 약점이다; 둘째, 학습장애학생의 학습양식은 의존적이고 회피적인 학습양식을 나타낸다; 셋째, 학생의 학습양식은 다중지능과 상관이 있으며, 학습장애 여부는 다중지능과 학습양식 간의 상관 작용에 영향을 미치는 변수가 되지만, 성별과 학년별은 다중지능과 학습양식 간의 상관 작용에 영향을 미치는 변수가 되지 않는다. 마지막으로 연구의 시사점, 제한점, 제언 등에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among multiple intelligences and learning style of the students with or without learning disability(LD). The participants of this study were 30 elementary school students with LD and 30 elementary school students without LD in Korea. The results were as followings: First, Musical Intelligence and Body-Kinesthetic Intelligence were regarded as a strength in students with LD, whereas Logical-Mathematical Intelligence and Linguistic Intelligence were regarded as a weakness; Second, Student with LD had avoidance and dependent learning styles; Third, There were relationships between multiple intelligences and learning styles in students with or without LD. Students with LD or not was considered as a variable which affect relationships between multiple intelligences and learning styles, whereas the sex distinction and grades of students were not. From this result, We confirmed trait of multiple intelligence and learning style of students with or without LD, and mutual relationships.
