이 연구의 목적은 청각 의존 컴퓨터 작업에 따른 청각적 스트레스가 시각장애인의 경견부 근피로도, 압통 역치 그리고 주관적 피로도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이었다. 연구 대상자는 서울특별시 소재한 시각장애특수학교의 장애등급 제1, 2급 시각장애인 51명이었고, 청각 정보를 들을 때 사용하는 도구의 형태에 따라 연구 대상을 세 집단으로 나누어, 한 시간 동안의 컴퓨터 작업 전후 근피로도, 압통 역치, 주관적 피로도를 검사하였고 수집된 자료를 통계 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과, 시각장애인 컴퓨터 작업자들은 VDT 작업자들에게 공통적으로 문제가 되는 모니터 관련 요인 대신 청각 정보를 전달하는 방법에 따른 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 청각적 스트레스 수준이 높은 헤드셋을 사용한 작업에서 근피로도 및 주관적 피로도가 증가하였고 압통 역치는 감소하였다.
\"The purpose of this study was to analyze the auditory stress influence of caused by working on an auditory assistant computer on neck and shoulder muscle fatigue, pressure pain threshold, and subjective fatigue. The subjects of this study were 51 people with visual impairment in the first and second disabled grade at the school for the blind located in Seoul. To identify the influence of the auditory stress caused by the computer work, muscle fatigue, pressure pain threshold and subjective fatigue were measured after conducting the computer work for an hour. Findings suggested that the blind computer workers, in the conclusion, are so highly influenced to the method of auditory access to information as those sighted workers to the other of visual access, such as monitor-related factors. In particular, when the headset with high level auditory stress was used for the computer work, the muscle fatigue and subjective fatigue increased, and the pressure pain threshold decreased.
