이 연구의 목적은 노인일자리사업과 지역사회 자원봉사활동에 대한 노인의 생애주기에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구에 초점이 있다. 이 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 노인일자리사업과 지역사회자원봉사활동은 노인 개인에게 자아존중감과 성취감, 사회적으로 상실한 사회적 지위와 역할을 보충해 주고, 자신에 대한 긍정적인 자아개념을 심어주며, 사회참여활동을 통해 경제적인 자립을 할 수 있도록 해준다. 또한 지속적으로 사회적 관계를 유지하고 영역을 넓혀감으로써 고독감과 소외감을 줄여주는 효과를 나타낸다. 이러한 노인의 사회참여는 노년기에 직면함으로써 나타날 수 있는 문제를 예방하고, 노인문제를 해결하는데 필요한 사회적비용을 절감할 수 있는 한편, 노인에 대한 인식전환과 사회적 연대감, 사회통합의 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 마지막으로 부족한 인력을 노인인력으로 대체함으로써 사회적 생산성을 제고할 수 있다.

Is as following if summarize result of this study. Elderly job business and area chairman circle service activity to elderly individual self respect feeling and sense of accomplishment be, supplement losing station in life and role socially, and plant positive self-concept about oneself, and do so that can do self-support that is economical through social activities activity. Also, display effect that reduce lonely and feelings of alienation by preserving social relation continuously and widen area. This elderly social activities prevents problem that can appear by facing to elderly, and can get effect of Korea realization switching and social sense of common bonds, society integration gouging elderly while can reduce necessary social expense to solve elderly problem.
