With the spread of lifelong education and learning, adult education has been
making an independent research area. Thus examining the research trends of
Korea\'s adult education for the past ten years will be meaningful in that it will
help to establish directions and visions for more systematic and effective adult
education researches by reflecting on the past and looking into the future. This
study searched for implications for future researches on Korea\'s adult education
by reviewing total 270 papers published in ‘Andragogy Today,’ which is one of
the major journals in Korea\'s adult education, from 1998 to 2008 with a
framework of regional distribution of contributors, research themes, subjects, and
methodologies.
