This study aims to examine problems of school violence in disabled children and present human
rights education on the basis of a case analysis through an interview with faculty of a special
school(class). School violence in disabled children is diversly driven by personal, environmental, legal
and institutional factors but the major reason is probably that the victims have a ‘disability’. To
prevent this school violence in disabled children, schools from a kindergarten to a high school should
put the top priority to systematic understanding education for the disabled and human rights
education. School violence is a problem of human rights abuse and human rights education should be
necessarily required.
