본 연구는 협동적 조형 활동이 유아의 사회적 행동에 미치는 효과를 알아 보기 위한 연구이다. 연구대상은 만 5세 유아 40명으로, 한 학급의 유아 20 명은 실험집단으로, 나머지 한 학급의 유아 20명은 비교집단으로 선정하였 다. 실험집단 유아들에게는 12개로 구성된 협동적 조형 활동을 총 6주 동안 전개하였다. 그리고 협동적 조형 활동이 유아들의 사회적 행동에 미치는 효 과를 알아보기 위하여 유아용 사회적 행동 검사 도구를 적용하여 사전과 사후 각각 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 협동적 조형 활동을 경험한 실험 집단의 유아들이 비교집단 유아들보다 참여 활동 유형과 사회적 행동에 차 이가 있어 협동적 조형 활동 경험이 유아의 사회적 행동에 긍정적인 효과 가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
This study examines the effects of cooperative art activities on children's social behavior. The subjects used in this study were 40 children. The mean age of the subjects was 5 years and 2 months. The teacher of experimental group participated in a 6-week program for a total of 12 hours(two times a week). Data was analyzed by t-test using SPSS 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. There were significant difference between the experimental and comparative group in post-test scores. The experimental group had higher scores in young children's social behavior than the comparative group. In conclusion, cooperative art activities reveals the positive effects on the children's social behavior. The results suggest that cooperative art activities can be considered an effective program in promoting children's social behavior.
