The purpose of thls study is developing space representation skill of fine art for sixth grade of elementary school students as understanding the differentness and similarities of eastern and western painting's space description fonnula, space concept by appreciation with representative activity. The result of the study is the following. First, the subject representation and subject emphasis items of the practical examination, the experimental group gets more score than control group. Second, the representation method and effective representation items of the practical examination, the experimental group gets more score than control group. Third, the artistic element, principle and space representation items of the practical examination, the experimental group get more score than control group. Finally, teacher-educating program for appreciation class in elementary school is very effective to increase space representation ability of chlldren, who is in the Pseudo-Naturalistic Stage. Thus, thls study verified educational effectiveness to chlldren's space representation ability using teacher-educating program for appreciation class. Further giving a well-organized educational instruction with chlldren's developmental stage characteristics can be a basic data for complement the curriculum and understanding of chlldren's artistic activity.
