There is much preparation to be made for a disabled student to receive successful education in today’s integrated education system. This research observes the role of those in charge who should make the approach from an assistive technology perspective for a successful integration education, and this approach was conducted by analyzing Korea’s and international precedent studies to suggest a view of the future and tasks. Integrated education must reflect students’ demands for assistive technology, secure accessibility and mobility, plan safety of daily lives and school activities, play a role as a medium for communication, and support academic functions. Also, systematic application and evaluation must be made practically for assistive technology services by professionals, while raising recognition for assistive technology, securing accessibility, and enhancing economic efficiency in the future.
