The purpose of this study was to investigate the trend of domestic researches related to the
sociality of low-achieving students and students with learning disability, based on this, to provide a
basic data for the promotion of sociality. To this end, a total of 38 pieces of paper from 2000 to
2014 was chosen as the target analysis. This study analyzed the research field trends, subjects,
research topics and contents, methodology in domestic journals. As a result, first, previous studies
related to the sociality of low-achieving students and students with learning disability have been
published in various journals steadily since 2000. Especially, the proportion was highest in the special
education field. Second, the most frequent subjects were elementary school students. Third, the
analysis result of the research topics and contents, researches were mostly related to adaptive
behavior, social skills, interpersonal relationships. Finally, the analysis results according to methodology
reveal that the most was quantitative research, which was followed by literature research, qualitative
research in order. Based on these findings, implications for the future direction of domestic research
related to the sociality of low-achieving students and students with learning disability are presented.
