본 연구는 일반용 과학과 디지털교과서의 멀티미디어자료에 대한 접근성과 저시력 학생의 과학과 디지털교과서를 활용한 수업만족도를 분석하여 일반용 디지털교과서에 대한 접근성을 개선할 수 있는 방법을 모색하기 위한 연구이다. 일반용 과학과 디지털교과서의 멀티미디어자료에 대한 저시력학생의 접근성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안에 대하여 논의하였으며, 저시력학생은 일반용 디지털교과서에 대한 접근성의 어려움이 있지만 디지털교과서를 활용한 수업에 적극적으로 참여하고, 제공되는 멀티미디어자료를 활용한 수업만족도가 높았으며, 디지털교과서의 활용은 저시력학생의 시각적 경험의 부족을 보상하고 학습효율성을 높일 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.
